Responsibilities
- Automate manual processes within the cloud infrastructure.
- Set priorities and influence decisions on core cloud systems.
- Take ownership of projects and drive them to completion.
- Enhance platform security, resilience, and performance.
- Improve system observability and reliability.
- Identify and execute workflow improvements with the engineering team.
- Mentor team members and provide design and code reviews.
- Document processes to streamline operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in troubleshooting and cloud technologies.
- Expertise in Linux OS and networking stack.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Python and Golang.
- High skill level with cloud services, preferably AWS.
- Experience with Kubernetes, HELM, and building operational metrics.
- Ability to automate tasks and implement Infrastructure as Code.
