Lead Solutions Architect (East Coast)

Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture discussions and create plans for integrating Black Duck products into customer DevSecOps workflows.
- Analyze customer environments and requirements to design and propose product, implementation, and strategy consulting services.
- Scope, document, and coordinate customer solutions with services teams, sales leads, product teams, and implementation teams.
- Ensure proposed solutions are implemented as designed and adapt them as required.
- Identify, document, and communicate best practices for proposed solutions.
- Create and deliver technical presentations and documentation for technical and business stakeholders.
- Provide technical consultation on SAST, SCA, and DAST solutions.
- Provide customer feedback and product improvement ideas to product and functional teams.
- Mentor other team members.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in consulting, solution architecture, software development, or a related customer-facing technical role.
- Technical background in software development or scripting and deep knowledge of the software development life cycle.
- Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of software containers, including images, containers, registries, and container lifecycles.
- Hands-on experience with Docker or equivalent container runtimes.
- Experience scoping custom solutions and scripting while identifying edge cases and blockers.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%.
- Application security tools and processes, including SAST, SCA, DAST, or IAST, are preferred.
- Black Duck or Coverity experience is preferred.
- Python scripting using REST APIs is preferred.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms is preferred.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent customer engagements, prioritize activities, set objectives, and meet milestones.
- Strong adaptability, business acumen, and interest in improving customers' application security posture.
