Staff Platform Engineer

Responsibilities
- Set the technical direction for the agentic platform and design scalable architectures.
- Define SLOs and build the observability stack to ensure high uptime.
- Own the deployment pipeline and eliminate friction in production processes.
- Partner with AI engineering to optimize model serving and manage compute capacity.
- Implement security controls to maintain compliance with HIPAA and SOC 2.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate platform needs into actionable roadmaps.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software/infrastructure engineering experience, with 4+ years in a senior role.
- Deep expertise in running production systems on major cloud providers.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
- Demonstrated experience scaling infrastructure through significant growth.
- Proven track record in designing for high availability and zero-downtime releases.
- Strong security fundamentals in IAM, secrets management, and vulnerability management.
- Experience in early-stage or high-growth startups with broad infrastructure ownership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
