Base Salary
$150k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship product features across the stack, including user-facing experiences and backend systems.
- Partner with product and design to translate user problems and ambiguous ideas into useful experiences.
- Own product work end-to-end by proposing solutions, building them, measuring results, and iterating.
- Work with AI and ML systems to create context-aware experiences and proactive user assistance.
- Contribute to context storage and retrieval, desktop experiences, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.
- Learn new technologies and parts of the stack as needed while helping establish effective engineering practices.
Requirements
- Have 2-4 years of software engineering experience or equivalent experience building software independently.
- Demonstrate strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
- Have built and shipped side projects, open-source software, apps, tools, or other independent work.
- Be able to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly and work across the stack.
- Care about end users, product quality, ownership, collaboration, and iterative delivery.
- Preferred qualifications include significant open-source contributions or projects with real users, experience building AI-powered products or using LLMs, experience with React, TypeScript, or Python, experience building desktop, mobile, or developer tools, startup experience, and self-directed technology learning.
