Responsibilities
- Lead technical and architectural decisions involving system design, infrastructure strategy, and configuration optimization.
- Analyze business requirements, propose design alternatives, and architect microservices-based solutions using Java/JEE, modern UI technologies, Docker, and AWS.
- Provide high-level design guidance to project teams and ensure solutions align with approved architecture.
- Develop enterprise software solutions by analyzing organizational needs, system flows, work processes, and problem areas.
- Research, implement, and promote application best practices through prototypes, reference implementations, training, and coaching.
- Own problems, issues, and requests through resolution while facilitating appropriate handoffs.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify efficiency improvements and influence technology decisions with business partners and IT management.
Requirements
- At least 5–7 years of hands-on professional software engineering experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions.
- Preferred 8+ years of hands-on development experience with modern Java and/or Python technologies in agile, distributed teams.
- At least 5 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Python frameworks, Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing large-scale microservices architectures with container orchestration frameworks.
- At least 3 years of experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and EhCache.
- Experience implementing cloud solutions on AWS across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS integrations.
- Experience with Jenkins, Cucumber, Jira, Bitbucket, and Git.
- Experience tuning performance and designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade production applications.
- Familiarity with AWS Textract, Comprehend, and Bedrock Data Automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience; advanced studies and degree are preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, technical decision-making, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
