Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts, test scenarios, and comprehensive test cases.
- Perform black-box, ad-hoc, smoke, sanity, regression, integration, system, and exploratory game testing.
- Report, track, reproduce, and help resolve software defects and field-reported issues.
- Set up and maintain test environments and document test results.
- Analyze test results, recommend corrective action, and consult with development engineers on problem resolution.
- Provide testing progress updates to the Content QA Manager.
- Ensure software releases meet defined game standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, Software Testing Life Cycle, QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience preparing test scenarios and writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
- Experience executing test cases, reporting defects, and using defect-tracking processes.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to learn and accept challenges.
- Knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA and qTest.
- ISTQB certification is advantageous.
