Responsibilities
- Prepare test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and requirements traceability matrices.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, system, end-to-end, cross-browser, responsive, accessibility, security, SIT, and UAT testing.
- Validate Pega workflows, case types, stages, SLAs, routing, correspondence, business rules, and user interfaces.
- Perform Pega unit testing and support Pega Scenario Testing, automated regression testing, and coverage reporting.
- Validate REST and SOAP integrations using API testing tools and perform SQL, Clipboard, and Data Page validation.
- Manage defects through triage, documentation, retesting, and fix validation.
- Prepare test execution reports and quality dashboards and support release quality gates and go/no-go recommendations.
- Work with Business Analysts, Architects, developers, and business users to identify quality risks and support shift-left quality practices.
Requirements
- Strong software testing experience and experience testing Pega applications.
- Knowledge of Pega Case Management, case types, workflows, SLAs, Pega unit testing, and Pega Scenario Testing.
- Understanding of API testing, REST, SOAP, SQL/database validation, SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect and project tracking tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related technical discipline; BCA, MCA, or B.Sc. in Computer Science is also acceptable.
- Preferred: 4+ years of testing experience and 2+ years of Pega testing experience.
- Preferred: ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification, Certified Pega System Architect certification, Pega or API automation, CI/CD, performance testing, Agile testing certification, and enterprise financial services or insurance project experience.
