Responsibilities
- Drive adoption of cybersecurity standards and compliance with ISO/IEC 27001, IEC 62443, and the Cyber Resilience Act.
- Define secure architectures for embedded systems, mobile applications, and cloud platforms.
- Specify embedded security controls including secure boot, roots of trust, key provisioning, and secure OTA updates.
- Establish cloud security practices covering IAM, encryption, workload isolation, and zero-trust architecture.
- Lead product TARA activities and maintain security cases, risk registers, and related documentation.
- Integrate SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, IaC scanning, SBOMs, and security release gates into CI/CD pipelines.
- Coach engineers on secure coding and threat-driven design while maintaining security workflows.
- Support validation and verification, penetration testing, fuzzing, remediation, and supplier security alignment.
- Own cybersecurity plans, interface agreements, security cases, audit reports, and the security compliance dossier.
- Translate cybersecurity strategy into KPIs and strengthen collaboration among engineering, suppliers, leadership, and global teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of software or hardware engineering experience, including at least 5 years focused on cybersecurity for embedded systems, IoT, or cloud platforms.
- Proven experience in secure architecture design, threat modeling, and risk assessment for multi-domain products.
- Hands-on experience with secure boot, TPM, cryptographic key management, secure OTA updates, HSMs, secure elements, and sensor-level protection.
- Experience with cloud-native security, IAM, encryption, workload isolation, and zero-trust architecture.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD security tooling, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity process implementation.
- Hands-on experience with ISO/SAE 21434, IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, NIST, and related privacy or regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with penetration testing, fuzzing, and reverse engineering of embedded firmware.
- Active contribution to the cybersecurity community through industry standards, open-source security projects, or published research.
- Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, continuous learning, and the ability to work effectively in global matrixed organizations.
