Base Salary

$180k - $215k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement ground software for satellite communication, control, and telemetry.
Support spacecraft commissioning during launch and early operations and maintain ground-system functionality during critical operations.
Own ground software solutions from initial design through deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to baseline product requirements and technical roadmaps.
Integrate third-party tools and custom software to automate satellite operations, tracking, and data processing.
Monitor and improve scalability, redundancy, and failover strategies for ground software and systems.

U.S. Person status is required to access export-controlled data.
At least 6 years of total ground software experience is required.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
Strong proficiency in Go, TypeScript, Python, and Rust is required.
Familiarity with microservices frameworks, Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC, and cloud-based solutions is required.
Knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration is required.
Experience integrating, testing, and validating software for real-time and distributed systems is required.
Familiarity with TCP/IP, UDP, secure communication systems, and encryption is required.
