Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the UI development team and Virtu colleagues to build scalable web-based UIs and trading tools.
- Work closely with traders and developers to understand requirements and implement real-time trading, visualization, analysis, and reporting tools.
- Design and develop intuitive user interfaces using the frontend web technology stack.
- Potentially contribute to backend development.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Expertise with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with React, Angular, Node, REST, and WebSockets.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or KDB.
- Experience with source code management; Git is a plus.
- Object-oriented design skills and familiarity with Java are a plus.
- Python experience is a plus.
- Interest in trading and financial markets.
- Applicants must provide examples of implemented UI designs or websites they have worked on.
