Responsibilities
- Contribute to the team’s functional and technical roadmap for deterministic rules-based and AI-driven healthcare automation solutions.
- Support technical design, technology evaluation, feature development, testing, and delivery of cloud platforms and web applications.
- Develop and maintain functionality across the database, backend, and frontend layers.
- Own software delivery across the SDLC, including designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting production services.
- Drive engineering releases two to four times per month and perform production support duties one to two times per year.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to build high-quality healthcare practitioner applications.
- Assist with information security activities, policy implementation, procedures, and issue reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, software engineering, or equivalent experience in the field.
- At least 6–8 years of full-time software development lifecycle experience.
- Proficiency with Java, Groovy, or Python.
- Experience building applications with React and JavaScript; TypeScript is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud development.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL datastores, including MySQL, Postgres, Dynamo, Elastic, or Mongo.
- Experience with software development practices including version control, unit testing, and CI/CD.
- Strong ownership of the complete software development lifecycle and ability to work with minimal direction.
- Experience with Cypress, Jest, Mocha, JUnit, or Cucumber is preferred but not required.
- Healthcare or life sciences experience, open-source work, and experience integrating AI/LLM systems or designing agent-based systems are preferred but not required.
