Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, debug, and optimize high-volume business logic running on mainframe systems.
- Refactor legacy code and extract business logic for migration or integration with cloud-based services and mobile applications.
- Monitor architecture, identify performance improvements, and maintain mission-critical application reliability.
- Develop scalable and robust software using Java, Python, .NET, microservices, databases, messaging queues, and cloud services.
- Apply unit testing, debugging, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and container-based architecture.
Requirements
- Require 7–14 years of experience as a software engineer working on complex software projects.
- Require strong development experience with Java, Python, or .NET and expertise in debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Require experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and web services.
- Require knowledge of microservices architecture, containers, messaging queues, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Require experience developing scalable and robust software and applying unit testing practices.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred certification in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.
