Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable, high-quality production software solutions.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation while validating their outputs.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to produce visualizations, identify patterns, and improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Apply software development lifecycle practices and guide peers on responsible, secure, and effective AI use in engineering workflows.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, security expectations, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies, application resiliency, and security.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
