Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions that address complex business problems for clients.
- Write clean, reusable, iterative, and well-tested code using sound engineering practices.
- Build large-scale distributed systems from microservices.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Quality Analysts, Designers, Project Managers, and other teammates to develop features and interactive prototypes.
- Advocate continuous delivery, DevSecOps, and security practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Participate in the full software consulting and delivery cycle from ideation through deployment.
- Assess team health, code quality, and nonfunctional requirements.
- Mentor less-experienced peers and help cultivate collaborative technical teams.
Requirements
- Experience with one or more of Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, or C#.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills and the ability to write high-quality, well-tested code.
- Comfort with Agile methodologies such as Extreme Programming, Scrum, or Kanban.
- Awareness of test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery approaches or tools.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or Docker is a bonus.
- Ability to influence others, advocate for technical excellence, adapt to change, and work through ambiguity.
- Engagement with the external technology community through speaking, open source, blogging, or similar contributions.
