Base Salary
$196k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical strategy and execution for platform networking and service communication.
- Design and operate resilient service mesh topologies with Istio.
- Define and implement platform standards for HTTP/REST and gRPC APIs.
- Build automation and tooling in Python and Go to enhance developer productivity.
- Create and maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code modules and pipelines.
- Partner with security and application teams for end-to-end solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor senior engineers.
Requirements
- Experience with AWS network communication fundamentals.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and AWS EKS operations at scale.
- Knowledge of HTTP/REST and gRPC protocol fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Istio service mesh and Envoy is a plus.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills across L3–L7 traffic communication.
- Strong scripting/programming skills in Python and Golang.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
- Strong leadership skills for project planning and execution.
