Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-enabled, scalable test automation frameworks across frontend UI, backend microservices, and data layers.
- Generate test cases from requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria using AI capabilities and prompt engineering.
- Validate AI/GenAI features for correctness, safety, reliability, hallucinations, inconsistent outputs, edge cases, and data isolation.
- Build natural-language-to-automation solutions and apply techniques such as Skills, Cursor Rules, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
- Establish AI-driven CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring for model performance, anomalies, and system reliability.
- Perform AI-driven load and performance testing and evaluate response time, throughput, error rate, and concurrency.
- Investigate model drift, data inconsistencies, and system failures, recommending architectural or data-driven improvements.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers on testing strategies, quality goals, and release readiness.
- Mentor QE team members and support a zero-escaped-defect quality objective.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in QA or software testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Proven experience with AI-assisted testing, test automation, and performance testing using AI agents, AI IDEs, or tools such as Cursor and Copilot.
- Experience testing SaaS and web-based enterprise applications.
- Experience with automation design patterns such as Page Object Model and fixtures.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps, plus Git and version-control workflows.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, cloud environments, production monitoring, and performance metrics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Preferred experience testing AI/GenAI products, familiarity with AI frameworks or agent-based systems, and experience contributing to QA tools or platforms.
- Preferred exposure to test analytics, quality metrics, and data-driven QA practices.
