Base Salary
$130k - $146k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, program, deploy, and support clinical applications within the IHS Resource and Patient Management System.
- Design, develop, code, test, and debug complex software products and significant enhancements to existing software.
- Analyze client requirements and recommend technical solutions for application design issues, including network platform and system security considerations.
- Apply accessibility requirements and industry-standard approaches to application design and development.
- Troubleshoot complex problems and provide customer support for RPMS clinical applications.
- Provide input to technical documentation, testing, analysis reports, findings, and project progress reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience in FileMan/M/Cache.
- Experience with information system requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing.
- Ability to translate design artifacts into usable code.
- Ability to obtain an appropriate level of Public Trust clearance, requiring U.S. residency for 3 of the past 5 years.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of healthcare-sector experience.
- Preferred: advanced knowledge of VA and IHS environments, RPMS, CPRS, or legacy VISTA.
- Preferred: working knowledge of Team Foundation Server and/or Azure DevOps.
