Lead Software Engineer - .NET Full-Stack Developer with Generative AI

- Lead complex and potentially companywide technology initiatives with broad impact.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, and review complex software and technology solutions.
- Develop engineering standards and companywide best practices for large-scale technology solutions.
- Lead projects and teams, mentor peers, and influence technology teams to deliver initiatives.
- Resolve complex technical issues in collaboration with technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups.
- Guide teams in using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
- Integrate AI capabilities through API- or SDK-based services while considering responsible AI, compliance, monitoring, and cost-performance trade-offs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Strong hands-on software development expertise and experience delivering scalable applications.
- Experience providing technical leadership.
- Experience with C#, .NET Core or Java Spring Boot, and React or AngularJS.
- Experience with microservices, distributed systems, cloud platforms, databases, messaging, event-driven architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
- Knowledge of AI/ML basics, LLM usage patterns, responsible AI practices, enterprise compliance, and AI system operations.
