Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute service provisioning and monitoring test strategies for Crosswork Network Controller releases.
  • Build and maintain scalable Python automation for GUI, REST API, platform, network-device, and service workflows.
  • Validate installation, upgrades, device onboarding, service provisioning, topology, telemetry, high availability, scale, and failure recovery.
  • Design and execute functional, integration, regression, upgrade, resiliency, scale, and end-to-end tests.
  • Reproduce defects, perform root cause analysis, collaborate on resolution, and prevent regressions.
  • Communicate test plans, execution results, defect analysis, quality status, and release risk.
  • Collaborate with development, product management, customer-facing, operations, and quality engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 4 to 8 years of relevant quality engineering experience.
  • Strong Python automation skills developing scalable test frameworks, libraries, and scripts.
  • Hands-on experience testing REST APIs and JSON-based integrations.
  • Strong IP networking fundamentals, including routing protocols, MPLS, Segment Routing, TCP/IP, and L2/L3 VPN services.
  • Ability to configure network devices, validate control-plane and data-plane behavior, and troubleshoot multivendor environments.
  • Experience testing distributed network-management or network-automation products across functional, integration, regression, upgrade, resiliency, scale, and end-to-end scenarios.
  • Strong Linux/Unix, API, and platform troubleshooting skills, including log analysis, service-health validation, defect isolation, and release verification.
  • Preferred experience with Cisco Crosswork, Cisco NSO, SR-PCE, model-driven telemetry, NETCONF/YANG, gNMI, SNMP, Kubernetes, container platforms, virtualization, and high-availability, performance, scale, upgrade, or migration testing.
