Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute front-end and back-end performance test scripts using JMeter or K6.
- Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, reliability problems, and root causes.
- Use profiling tools and database analysis to investigate performance issues.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to define performance requirements and resolve issues.
- Provide performance recommendations during architectural and design reviews.
- Monitor systems during load tests and identify degradation and optimization opportunities.
- Create performance testing reports and documentation for stakeholders and management.
- Stay current with performance testing tools, techniques, and best practices.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
- Proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter or K6.
- Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Experience using Datadog, JVisualVM, GC analysis, AWR reports, heap dumps, and thread dumps to identify bottlenecks.
- Familiarity with SQL or Oracle queries.
- Basic understanding of C#, Java, or another programming language.
- Ability to use AI tools such as Claude and Codex for end-to-end performance test script design.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
