Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop reusable cloud architecture patterns, platform services, self-service capabilities, APIs, and integrations.
  • Implement high availability, disaster recovery, multi-region deployment, containerization, and cloud-native modernization strategies.
  • Develop automation tools and cloud-native services using Python, Go, Java, or Bash.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, orchestration, build and release processes, and rollback capabilities.
  • Apply cloud security, IAM, secrets management, encryption, policy enforcement, DevSecOps, and enterprise compliance controls.
  • Improve deployment frequency, reliability, observability, operational excellence, and developer productivity.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring, participate in architecture reviews and technology evaluations, and lead cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Lead root-cause analysis of complex production incidents and define long-term corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with software engineering, architecture, security, operations, infrastructure, product, project management, and development teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and 4+ years of software engineering or related experience; alternatively, a master's degree with 3+ years or a PhD with 2+ years.
  • At least 2 years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • The general summary requests 10+ years of experience designing, developing, automating, and operating large-scale cloud platforms.
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies, multi-cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, CI/CD automation, container orchestration, observability, and site reliability practices.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud architecture, platform services, deployment automation, and cloud security practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI, and with Git, GitLab, JFrog, or similar DevOps tools.
  • Knowledge of programming or scripting languages including Python, PowerShell, Java, Go, Bash, or Ruby.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, evaluate technologies, and collaborate across engineering and business teams.
