Responsibilities
- Develop prototype applications, frameworks, and system components that showcase advanced AI capabilities.
- Build agent-enabled applications integrating foundation models, tools, APIs, external services, and device capabilities.
- Prototype and evaluate agent architectures, workflows, user experiences, reliability, and task completion.
- Integrate AI models and agentic workflows with tool integration, orchestration logic, memory systems, runtimes, and end-to-end data flows.
- Design clean, maintainable, extensible software architectures and contribute to internal tools and automation.
- Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers and communicate technical designs, trade-offs, and implementation details.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 4+ years of software development experience; alternatively, a master’s degree and 3+ years, a PhD and 2+ years, or equivalent industry experience in systems or mobile development.
- Strong programming skills in one or more of Python, C++, Java, Kotlin, Go, or Rust.
- Strong fundamentals in architecture design, modularity, testing, debugging, performance optimization, and maintainable software development.
- Experience designing complex software systems and taking applications or systems from concept to working prototype.
- Preferred experience with agentic AI applications using LLMs, multimodal models, tool calling, workflow orchestration, memory systems, planning, reasoning, or multi-agent architectures.
- Preferred familiarity with LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, MCP, or similar agent frameworks.
- Preferred experience evaluating agent reliability and user experience, rapidly prototyping AI applications, integrating AI features across platforms, or building internal tools and automation.
- Snapdragon platform or on-device AI deployment experience is a plus.
- Qualifying alternatives also include a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related work, a master’s degree with 1+ year, or a PhD in a related field.
