Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, system flows, data usage, work processes, and software problems to create feasible designs.
- Develop, modify, debug, and maintain software programs and modules for operating systems or applications.
- Design and execute test cases, usage scenarios, and software validation processes to ensure code quality.
- Investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis, troubleshoot queries, and recommend system improvements.
- Support software installation, deployment, monitoring, performance improvements, and interface upgrades.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, flowcharts, diagrams, code comments, project specifications, and status updates.
- Coordinate with functional teams, systems analysts, project managers, engineering staff, stakeholders, and clients.
- Capture client requirements and feedback and provide timely responses to support smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in continuing education, training, certifications, and learning new programming languages.
Requirements
- Experience or capability in software design, coding, testing, debugging, maintenance, and software development lifecycle activities.
- Ability to analyze requirements and system problems and translate them into software designs and solutions.
- Ability to create and execute software validation test cases and ensure code is error-free or has no test failures.
- Ability to document technical solutions, project activities, status, requirements, and implementation details clearly.
- Ability to collaborate with clients, project managers, analysts, functional teams, engineering staff, and stakeholders.
- Commitment to customer focus, quality assurance, on-time delivery, reporting accuracy, and continuous learning.
