Responsibilities
- Implement and operate Microsoft Azure infrastructure across compute, networking, storage, identity, and platform services.
- Provision and maintain cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or comparable platforms.
- Containerize applications with Docker and support deployment of container-based workloads on Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Apply GitOps principles and automate deployments with ArgoCD.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, platform, and operations teams to improve build, release, deployment, and operational processes.
- Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational improvements across development, test, and production environments.
- Contribute to reusable automation patterns, DevOps standards, documentation, technical guidelines, and secure, scalable platform solutions.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a comparable technical role.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure or strong motivation to develop Azure expertise.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and version-controlled deployment approaches.
- Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Basic to good knowledge of Docker and container technologies, plus an understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Initial experience or strong interest in GitOps and deployment automation with ArgoCD.
- Understanding of cloud fundamentals, networking, identity, and security concepts.
- Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI, or comparable technologies.
- Very good written and spoken German and English.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, Red Hat OpenShift, Terraform, Bicep, Helm, Kustomize, Platform Engineering, Developer Experience, monitoring, logging, observability, Cloud Security, Governance, DevSecOps, or Microsoft Azure and DevOps certifications.
