Responsibilities
- Evaluate engine features, technologies, and AI capabilities and define architecture and technology choices across Unity and Unreal projects.
- Develop and maintain complex features and essential systems using C++ and C#.
- Own technical quality through coding standards, code reviews, build and release pipelines, and AI integration practices.
- Mentor developers through architecture guidance, design discussions, code reviews, and pairing.
- Work with studios to identify productivity challenges, define technical scopes and estimates, and identify risks.
- Collaborate with game programmers, technical artists, producers, and Gameloft developers across international studios.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency with Unreal Engine and/or Unity, including editors and extensions.
- Solid proficiency in C++ and C#.
- Experience building and launching tools or systems relied on by other teams.
- Advanced debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills across complex systems.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and self-explanatory code.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, build infrastructure, and version control at scale.
- Practical experience using AI as a coding assistant and integrating AI services into tools.
- Ability to turn ambiguous requests into workable technical approaches and communicate clearly in English.
- Mentoring ability and experience raising technical quality through reviews, pairing, and design discussions.
