Base Salary
$101k - $167k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve data pipelines for storing and analyzing routing service logs in a cloud-based data warehouse.
- Develop data pipelines that provide operational insights into deployed services.
- Build visualizations and dashboards showing routing service performance, reliability, failures, and usage patterns.
- Enhance monitoring systems, collect real-time service-health metrics, improve alerts, and create automated corrective-action runbooks.
- Use automation, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code to support routing service operations.
- Collaborate with software development teams, technical support, product management, and other stakeholders to improve service observability and workflows.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience writing Python for data processing.
- Knowledge of loading, managing, and analyzing data in AWS using Athena.
- Experience developing dashboard applications with Grafana.
- Hands-on experience provisioning cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
- Successful collaboration with diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technology field.
- Preferred experience with pandas, Polars, or DuckDB.
- Preferred experience with AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, mtail, and Grafana for web-service monitoring and observability.
- Preferred experience managing production alerts and incident-response workflows with PagerDuty.
- A master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
