Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and management of data services on Kubernetes platforms.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments.
- Deploy and support cloud-native data services like Amazon Kinesis and Google Pub/Sub.
- Leverage AI-powered tools for script generation and incident troubleshooting.
- Create automation scripts in Python to streamline workflows.
- Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident reviews.
- Collaborate with engineers to align infrastructure with application requirements.
- Document infrastructure and lessons learned for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Production experience with AWS and/or GCP data services.
- Hands-on experience managing containerized workloads on Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of Terraform and Git-based workflows.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD platforms like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in Python or another scripting language.
- Familiarity with observability stacks such as CloudWatch and Datadog.
- Fundamental grasp of SRE principles.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
