Responsibilities
- Design and build applications for the Android platform.
- Implement requirements in Android applications and write and update design documents.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency.
- Interface with software test teams to ensure high-quality products.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests.
- Participate in design, code, and test reviews and provide technical leadership.
- Propose and implement application enhancements to improve sustainability.
- Develop the Android SDK layer and work with multithreaded Android environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of native Android application development experience using Kotlin.
- At least 8 years of professional software development experience; the typical range is 8–12 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5–8 years with a master’s degree.
- Experience with documentation, testing, and coding, as well as working on Agile teams.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and GitFlow.
- Experience writing automated tests with Espresso and JUnit.
- Working knowledge of MVC, MVVM, and MVP design patterns.
- Experience developing SDK layers and working with multithreaded Android operating system environments.
