Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated metadata ingestion pipelines across distributed source systems.
- Develop API and connector integrations for new data sources and data-product delivery, including third-party and customer-site sources.
- Plan, schedule, and execute integration work for data products across their lifecycle.
- Build schema-translation pipelines in partnership with the Sr Staff Data Engineer.
- Implement policy-as-code and attribute-based access control for governance, export-control, and data-sovereignty enforcement.
- Partner with federated IAM and export compliance architects to validate enforcement logic against the access model.
- Monitor, alert on, and maintain the reliability of data-product pipelines and technical operations.
- Maintain technical documentation and support data-product certification and onboarding SLAs.
- Build to architecture standards set by the Principal Data Architect and raise standards gaps with proposed patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least four years of professional experience, an associate degree with at least seven years, or a high school diploma with at least nine years.
- At least three years of professional experience in data pipeline engineering and systems integration or IT.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government SECRET security clearance is desired.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering is desired, with a STEM major preferred.
- Desired experience includes hybrid cloud, on-premises, and edge secure connectivity; secure data transmission; metadata-driven governance; policy-as-code; attribute-based access control; ingestion, transformation, and orchestration; API and connector development; and defense, aerospace, regulated, or export-controlled environments.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer, or Microsoft Azure Administrator or Developer Associate, are desired.
- Military experience is considered equivalent to professional experience.

- Base pay range is $112,000–$149,000 annually, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
