Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage UDS environments across AWS EKS, Azure AKS, and on-premises platforms
- Build and maintain custom UDS packages and application-specific modules
- Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code modules for customer environment provisioning and configuration
- Provide on-call support for critical UDS issues and adhere to SLA commitments
- Serve as the primary technical customer interface for guidance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Create and deliver customer-specific technical training through remote and on-site sessions
- Coordinate customer onboarding and support adoption of UDS deployments
- Collect customer and community feedback for internal product and process improvements
- Analyze operational and usage data to identify trends and optimize delivery strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and experiment with tools and techniques to improve deployment efficiency and customer outcomes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role focused on system architecture and development
- Strong Kubernetes proficiency and hands-on experience with Azure AKS, AWS EKS, or on-premises Kubernetes such as RKE2, K3s, or OpenShift
- Knowledge of hybrid-cloud architectures, including networking, RBAC, and storage across cloud and on-premises clusters
- Experience with Helm, GitOps, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub
- Ability to provide customer architecture guidance, production support, troubleshooting, and platform expertise
- Strong analytical, communication, independent-working, and remote-team skills
- Willingness to travel for on-site training and support
- DoD IAT Level II certification, such as Security+, is preferred
- DoD Secret or higher clearance is preferred but not required
- U.S. citizenship is required
