Responsibilities
- Lead post-sale technical account strategy and execution for complex customer accounts and multiple Databricks use cases.
- Own technical delivery plans covering onboarding, enablement, production deployment, product adoption, optimization, and governance.
- Serve as the first contact for technical production and go-live issues, escalating to specialized internal teams when needed.
- Coordinate Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Support, User Education, Engineering, Product, and other customer-facing teams.
- Create strategic roadmaps, conduct discovery workshops, manage executive relationships, and report customer health, usage, risks, and progress.
- Drive customer growth, adoption, consumption, and business outcomes across assigned accounts.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience accountable for technical project or program delivery in data and AI.
- Programming experience with Python, SQL, or Scala.
- Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting.
- Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems and the ability to contribute to technical design decisions.
- Experience with technical program or project management, including account, stakeholder, and resource management.
- Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives and managing complex programs or projects.
- Experience conducting open-ended discovery workshops, business analysis, strategic roadmap creation, and delivery management.
- Track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or similar objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to travel up to 30% when needed.
