Responsibilities
- Build and maintain messaging platform capabilities.
- Develop and support third-party provider integrations.
- Own frontend and backend features end-to-end.
- Debug production issues across distributed systems.
- Improve reliability, scalability, and developer productivity.
- Coordinate with Product, QA, DevOps, and external provider teams.
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
Requirements
- 5–6 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong full-stack engineering skills using MERN or equivalent technologies.
- Solid backend fundamentals in Node.js and distributed API systems.
- Strong frontend experience with React or equivalent modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience with third-party API integrations and integration-heavy systems.
- Understanding of system design, scalability, distributed systems, debugging, and data structures and algorithms.
- Ability to independently own features end-to-end in ambiguous and fast-moving environments.
- Preferred experience with messaging or communication platforms, workflow-heavy SaaS products, integration platforms, middleware, asynchronous and event-driven systems, reliability and observability tooling, production issue handling, and release ownership.
