Base Salary
$147k - $294k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and construct key software modules for a multi-cloud Database-as-a-Service platform.
- Develop scalable capabilities for database provisioning, high availability, patching, scaling, upgrades, backup, recovery, and cloning.
- Design solutions across REST APIs, workflow management, orchestration, and autonomous database management.
- Create intuitive capabilities based on developer and customer use cases across diverse database platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, product management, and technical documentation teams to deliver production software.
- Drive initiatives across the software development lifecycle from concept through production release.
- Apply systematic design principles to build robust, performant, and scalable architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, and cloud-native applications.
- Enterprise software development experience in REST APIs including OpenAPIs, workflow management, orchestration, or autonomous database management.
- Strong programming skills in one or more of Go, Java, or C++.
- Experience with object-oriented concepts and design.
- Ability to use AI to write efficient, high-quality code and conduct effective code reviews.
- Practical experience with database management software is preferred.
