Responsibilities
- Work on automation projects to improve reliability and incident response.
- Build and maintain internal tooling in Python for monitoring and alerting.
- Monitor system health and performance, resolving issues promptly.
- Improve observability by building dashboards and refining alerting thresholds.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex applications in Java and Python.
- Automate operational tasks in a Kubernetes/EKS environment.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance system stability.
- Integrate with internal platforms to streamline incident workflows.
- Coordinate with global teams for seamless support.
- Triage and respond to production incidents.
- Investigate issues using SQL and log analysis.
- Document support procedures and maintain knowledge base articles.
- Champion the adoption of AI to improve team performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in production support or engineering roles.
- Strong technical skills in SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with incident response and structured problem-solving.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
