Responsibilities
- Design and develop a Real-Time SDK and server-side infrastructure for consuming or contributing to real-time financial content.
- Create feature designs, document technical decisions, estimate implementation complexity, and implement software solutions.
- Produce, test, debug, review, validate, and verify C and C++ code for real-time library features.
- Build unit tests, review QA test plans, and maintain high-quality documentation and open-source-standard code.
- Fix customer-reported issues and collaborate with support, internal teams, and vendors to improve products.
- Automate tasks using tools and scripting, monitor systems, maintain current software, and deploy containerized products to Azure, AWS, or another cloud environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent degree.
- Proven senior-level software development experience with strong knowledge of C and C++.
- Experience with low-level network communication, socket programming, TCP/IP, and UDP multicast protocols.
- Experience with Linux, Windows, and cross-platform development.
- Knowledge of GitLab, GitHub, or another source control system; Jira; and Agile methodology.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, independent-working, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, large-scale deployment experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or Terraform, CI/CD and scripting experience, CMake knowledge, and familiarity with Java, C#, Ruby, R, Go, Node.js, Perl, or AI-assisted development optimization.
