Base Salary
$190k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robot behaviors and task-level intelligence across a large scale fleet of robots.
- Develop and scale multi-agent path planning algorithms and optimization strategies.
- Design and implement task orchestration and robot behaviors for various scenarios.
- Drive improvements in autonomy quality using data and operational metrics.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering for software-hardware integration.
- Participate in technical design reviews and drive architecture decisions.
- Mentor engineers and technicians to enhance reliability and operational excellence.
- Triage robotics system issues to ensure reliability of production systems.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in production-level coding in C++, Python, or Rust.
- Experience with distributed systems, backend services, API design, CI/CD, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated experience designing scalable systems and leading complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proven track record of using analysis to influence operational and engineering changes.
