Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and operate reliable services, frameworks, and infrastructure for the Confident Commits platform.
- Build capabilities that simplify testing and integrate it across development and execution environments.
- Capture, normalize, store, and surface test results across pipelines, local development, CI/CD systems, and supported environments.
- Improve developer productivity by reducing testing friction, shortening feedback cycles, and increasing test reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production and pre-production issues in testing services and infrastructure.
- Own module-level work from design clarification through implementation, validation, rollout, and operational follow-up.
- Use data and operational signals to identify testing bottlenecks, flaky behavior, reliability gaps, and feedback-cycle improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, planning, on-call, incident response, and operational health reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience delivering production-quality distributed systems, platform services, or developer tools.
- Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages such as Java, Go, C++, C#, Python, or similar.
- Experience designing APIs, data models, and service architectures with attention to scalability, availability, security, and operability.
- Understanding of cloud-native systems, containers, orchestration, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, or release engineering concepts.
- Demonstrated ownership from problem definition through design, implementation, launch, and ongoing operation.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and effective collaboration across engineering disciplines.
- Preferred experience includes application deployment platforms, continuous delivery, GitOps, artifact management, developer platform engineering, distributed systems, multi-tenant cloud services, control planes, workflow orchestration, SRE, incident response, observability, capacity and performance engineering, security engineering, identity and access management, policy-as-code, supply-chain security, compliance automation, or AI-assisted developer tools.
