Base Salary
$79k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native services and microservices.
- Build highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Own service components and drive features from design through deployment.
- Troubleshoot production issues, participate in on-call rotations, and support incident response and postmortems.
- Analyze system performance and improve scalability, reliability, availability, monitoring, alerting, and automation.
- Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, technical discussions, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Mentor interns and junior engineers on day-to-day engineering practices.
- Continuously improve engineering practices, tooling, documentation, and development processes.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Java, Go, C++, Python, or a similar language.
- Solid understanding of distributed-systems fundamentals, concurrency, multithreading, asynchronous programming, cloud computing, and service-oriented architectures.
- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern development practices.
- Understanding of system security, authentication protocols, and compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP and PCI DSS.
- Preferred experience with Identity and Access Management systems and operating production cloud services.
- Familiarity with OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with observability tools for metrics, logging, and tracing.
