Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain IRIS for Health integration platform environments across AWS EC2.
- Manage Linux-based servers, network security, Palo Alto VPN tunnels, system maintenance, security patches, and performance optimization.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CodeFresh, GitLab, or similar platforms.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot IRIS for Health integrations with Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, and other customer EHRs.
- Develop automation scripts and tools for environment provisioning, deployments, and routine maintenance.
- Implement infrastructure automation using modern DevOps practices and tools.
- Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging systems and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
- Analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and improve platform reliability and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or 10 years of equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in system administration, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration, command-line, and shell scripting skills.
- Experience administering InterSystems Caché and IRIS for Health.
- Hands-on experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Python, Caché ObjectScript, Bash, or JavaScript for automation and tooling.
- CI/CD pipeline experience with CodeFresh, GitLab, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of HL7, FHIR, and healthcare integration standards and interface engines.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in distributed systems.
- Preferred qualifications include IRIS for Health and AWS certifications, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Prometheus, Grafana, healthcare IT or medical device experience, and performance tuning or capacity planning experience.
