Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models for mission and business use cases.
- Build and maintain AI/ML pipelines covering data ingestion, preprocessing, feature engineering, training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Design and integrate LLM capabilities including prompting, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation, structured outputs, and agentic patterns.
- Develop agentic workflows that plan tasks, use tools, retrieve information, execute multi-step processes, and interact with external systems under controls and guardrails.
- Evaluate agentic systems for accuracy, reliability, safety, task completion, tool-use effectiveness, latency, and operational suitability.
- Develop AI-enabled applications, analytics tools, automation capabilities, and decision-support systems.
- Design and integrate APIs, services, and external tools into larger software systems.
- Establish reproducible environments, CI/CD workflows, and container-based deployments using Docker.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, analysts, and stakeholders throughout the AI/ML and software development lifecycles.
- Maintain data quality, version control, security, explainability, reliability, monitoring, and operational sustainment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Current TS/SCI clearance and current or willingness to obtain a CI polygraph.
- US citizenship is required due to US Government contract requirements.
- Proficiency in Python and commonly used AI/ML libraries and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience developing, training, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models.
- Strong knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, feature engineering, and data preprocessing.
- Experience with structured or unstructured data for analytics or AI/ML use cases.
- Experience designing, developing, or integrating agentic AI workflows or LLM applications using tools, APIs, memory, retrieval, and multi-step execution.
- Understanding of MLOps, LLMOps, agent operations, model and prompt versioning, experiment tracking, evaluation, observability, monitoring, and deployment.
- Proficiency with Git-based version control and familiarity with Docker, APIs, containerization, and collaborative software development.
- Preferred experience includes PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, MCP, Google ADK, A2A, LangChain, LangGraph, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, vector databases, semantic search, cloud-native AI/ML environments, data engineering, and DevSecOps.
