Responsibilities
- Write and review stored procedures, functions, and other programmable database objects for high-volume transaction systems.
- Design database schemas and recommend high-performance database solutions.
- Tune queries and databases using execution plans, indexing, and performance baselines.
- Maintain database deployment scripts, version control records, documentation, and database CI/CD tooling.
- Review data-access-layer code for database-call performance and security.
- Troubleshoot application and database problems, fix code, deploy changes, and test solutions.
- Support SQL Server setups and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in database administration.
- Experience writing SQL queries.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming.
- Preferred: experience with complex query optimization and performance tuning.
- Preferred: knowledge of payment systems and solutions.
- Preferred: strong communication, writing, and diagramming skills.
- Preferred: experience with GoLang.
