Responsibilities
- Build scalable and highly reliable product features.
- Design, implement, and maintain web applications for mobile and desktop users.
- Create APIs and architect high-throughput systems with client developers.
- Analyze requirements and design, code, test, install, and maintain application systems and software components.
- Create and maintain code and engineering-process documentation.
- Evaluate technical capabilities, options, and strategies.
- Plan and prioritize work and technical solutions with Engineering Managers and Product Owners.
- Participate in two-week sprints, daily stand-ups, bi-weekly retrospectives, pair or mob programming, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Use AI-assisted development tools across the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, code quality, documentation, troubleshooting, and operational excellence.
- Develop subject matter expertise and support mentoring and skills transfer among team members.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of .NET experience and at least 2 years of Angular 16+ experience.
- Expertise in C# and .NET 6+.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with SQL Server, relational database engines, and relational database design.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and microservice-based architecture patterns.
- Ability to demonstrate technical capability through individual contributions, pair programming, and architectural designs.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes and techniques.
- Preferred bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Service Fabric.
- Experience with client/server and n-tier development, object-oriented modeling, analysis, design, and programming.
- Experience with TDD/BDD frameworks and quality assurance and testing procedures.
- Strong documentation, estimation, analysis, programming, and work-management skills.
- Willingness to mentor teammates and maintain current development knowledge.
