Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend features and services from concept through production.
- Build and operate scalable, reliable, maintainable cloud-native services.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, design reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Develop services with emphasis on reliability, scalability, performance, cost, and observability.
- Build and enhance AI- and LLM-based capabilities and internal AI tooling.
- Apply AI-assisted development tools and workflows to improve productivity and code quality.
- Work with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and modern cloud-native technologies.
- Collaborate with Product and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Solid experience building backend services and cloud-based SaaS solutions.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized cloud-native architectures.
- Experience designing and working with REST APIs.
- Experience building and operating scalable production systems.
- Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic engineering environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Preferred: experience building AI or LLM-based services in production.
- Preferred: experience with React or full-stack development.
- Preferred: experience with multi-tenant or large-scale distributed systems, storage technologies, or additional public cloud platforms.
