Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead client AI architecture and technical delivery, translating business strategy into Google Cloud roadmaps, target architectures, investment cases, and measurable outcomes.
- Design scalable agentic AI and multi-agent solutions using Gemini, Vertex AI, ADK, Agent Engine, Vertex AI Search, Vector Search, RAG, and MCP integrations.
- Architect cloud-native applications using GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and infrastructure as code.
- Establish engineering standards for software quality, security, scalability, DevSecOps, CI/CD, testing, governance, and production readiness.
- Guide clients through AI platform modernization and collaborate with software, platform, data, ML, quality, security, and engineering stakeholders.
- Provide hands-on leadership through architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production-readiness assessments.
- Mentor consultants and engineers and develop reusable architectures, engineering standards, assets, and delivery accelerators.
- Support pursuits, executive workshops, proposals, demonstrations, technical estimates, thought leadership, and expansion of consulting engagements.
- Travel 25% to 50% and work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, or platform engineering designing and delivering enterprise applications.
- 3+ years of experience architecting and implementing solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, Go, or TypeScript, with experience building distributed systems, APIs, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Vertex AI, Gemini APIs, ADK, Agent Engine, Vertex AI Search, Vector Search, or comparable generative AI platforms.
- Experience with agentic AI, multi-agent orchestration, tool calling, prompt engineering, RAG, and enterprise AI application architectures.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, GKE, Cloud Run, Terraform, GitHub Actions or Cloud Build, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, security, observability, reliability engineering, and enterprise platform governance.
- Experience integrating enterprise data platforms, APIs, vector databases, knowledge retrieval systems, and AI services into scalable software solutions.
- Understanding of Responsible AI, model evaluation, AI governance, and secure production AI deployment.
- Strong communication and consulting skills for explaining complex technical concepts to engineers, architects, executives, and other stakeholders.
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT in daily workflows while assessing accuracy, mitigating bias, and ensuring output quality.
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is preferred; Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Generative AI Leader, or Generative AI Engineer certifications are a plus.
