Responsibilities
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, deliverables, and automation requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated web test scripts using Java or Python, preferably with Selenium.
- Set up automation frameworks from scratch and integrate automation code and tools into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform API testing to assess the reliability and performance of web services.
- Perform database testing and use SQL for data validation and analysis.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Communicate with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
- Provide technical training to upskill the testing team.
- Strategize and estimate new automation requirements and projects.
- Test GenAI and LLM models when applicable.
Requirements
- Extensive web automation experience using Java or Python, preferably Selenium.
- Proficiency in API testing with tools such as Postman.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and JIRA.
- Experience with database testing and SQL.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Cypress or Test Robot Automation is preferred.
- Experience with GenAI or LLM model testing is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree or MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ISTQB certification.
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality, complex automation testing solutions.
- Automation or performance testing certification such as CSTAS or CPTP is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, multitasking, and independent working skills.
- Preferred experience in finance and banking.
