Base Salary
$266k - $343k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a pre-sales technical advisor and trusted partner to enterprise customers and account teams.
- Design, configure, demonstrate, and present Cisco product solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Translate customer business priorities and challenges into technical solutions and architectures.
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Product Specialists, and other teams on solution and architecture development.
- Support formal sales plans and requests for proposals for assigned accounts.
- Stay current on Cisco innovations, competitor solutions, products, and services.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of related experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or client-facing consulting roles.
- Cisco product experience or relevant experience with key competitor offerings.
- Pre-sales experience translating technical solutions into business value.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of baseline Solutions Engineer/Solutions Architect skills and depth in at least one adjacent technology area.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies including switching, wireless, routing, data centers, and security.
- Excellent technical consulting, presentation, communication, collaboration, and customer relationship skills.
- Professional certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or CCNA are highly desirable.
- Conversance with AI infrastructure and IT use cases is preferred.

- Starting salary range of $266,100.00 to $342,900.00, with additional location-specific ranges and potential incentive compensation for sales-plan employees.
