
AI/LLM Network Software Development Engineer Graduate (High Speed Network) - 2027 Start (PhD)
ByteDanceResponsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy high-speed network technologies supporting AI/LLM applications.
- Develop monitoring, analysis, and diagnosis platforms and systems for large-scale AI/LLM networks.
- Research and develop high-performance AI communication frameworks, network protocol stacks, and host-network-application co-design optimizations.
- Build next-generation AI network infrastructure supporting large-scale heterogeneous network hardware.
- Improve the scalability, reliability, and performance of AI/LLM networks.
Requirements
- Completing or recently completing a PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proficiency in computer networking and network programming.
- Proficiency in one or more mainstream programming languages, including C/C++, Python, or Go.
- Familiarity with high-speed network systems, including RDMA, congestion control, and AI network optimization.
- Experience developing high-performance communication frameworks such as NCCL, MPI, or RPC libraries is preferred.
- Experience developing AI network diagnosis and performance optimization software systems is preferred.
- Candidates must be able to commit to an onboarding date by the end of the year and should state availability and graduation date on their resume.
