Responsibilities
- Lead a team developing reusable automotive BSW for inverter and converter electronic controllers.
- Lead requirements engineering, customer collaboration, technical estimation, risk identification, and documentation.
- Coordinate iteration planning and agile stand-up meetings.
- Lead enhancements to control and module/component architectures and strategic technology roadmaps.
- Own software tasks from design through development, integration, and testing.
- Design, code, and test software using AUTOSAR architecture and Automotive SPICE-compliant processes.
- Develop and configure BSW modules, bootloader, communication, diagnostic, memory, network management, operating system, and cybersecurity functionality.
- Debug embedded software on the bench and support problem-solving activities.
- Coordinate with systems engineering to analyze and document software requirements before implementation.
- Ensure traceability from requirements through test cases and participate in technical and code reviews.
- Mentor, influence, and coach team members while collaborating with global multisite teams.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience, including 4+ years in automotive BSW development and 2+ years with AUTOSAR architecture and BSW competency leadership.
- B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech in Electronics, Communication, Electrical, Power Electronics, or Instrumentation.
- Strong experience configuring and implementing AUTOSAR BSW modules and working with Bootloader, cybersecurity, IO hardware abstraction, Crypto, and MCAL.
- Hands-on experience with multicore operating systems, SecOC, and OTA/FOTA implementation solutions.
- Experience with communication and diagnostic stacks, including CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, UDS, XCP, and XETK.
- Experience with AUTOSAR components and modules including DCM, DEM, CAN, CANIF, SPI, PDUR, MEMIF, NM, EEP, FEE, ECUM, BSWM, WDG, and NVM.
- Solid experience with Vector DaVinci, EB Tresos, and ETAS ISOLAR.
- Experience with 32-bit Infineon TC3xx microcontrollers.
- Expertise in embedded software development using C and debugging multithreaded, multicore, and multi-CPU environments.
- Ability to understand microcontroller hardware and associated schematics.
- Experience with Plastic SCM, Bitbucket, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, TPT, CANTATA, VectorCAST, RTRT, CANoe, CANalyzer, NeoVI Fire, Lauterbach, and Tasking.
- Exposure to Agile methodology, CMM, Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, and TS 16949.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, collaboration, mentoring, and technical leadership skills.
