Responsibilities
- Own product initiatives end to end, from problem definition and specification through build, rollout, measurement, and iteration.
- Translate customer and operational problems involving provisioning, reliability, scalability, observability, deployment, pricing, and usage into measurable plans.
- Build backend services, APIs, internal tools, and customer-facing capabilities for blockchain infrastructure.
- Identify and resolve friction, reliability risks, scaling limits, and missed opportunities through production delivery.
- Define and improve metrics including activation, adoption, provisioning time, deployment success rate, operational cost, incident frequency, support volume, and retention.
- Use AI-assisted research, specification, implementation, testing, and analysis while verifying outputs for correctness.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, DevOps, support, and sales, communicating decisions, trade-offs, and risks clearly.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in backend, product, platform, or distributed-systems roles.
- Demonstrated ownership of projects across discovery, design, build, test, deployment, measurement, and iteration.
- Strong product judgment connecting technical work to customer value, commercial impact, and measurable outcomes.
- Solid backend experience building production services, APIs, and integrations in a modern programming language.
- Understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous architecture, event-driven architecture, and reliability trade-offs.
- Hands-on experience with a message broker or event-streaming tool such as NATS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
- Experience designing, deploying, and operating services in Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Comfort operating shipped systems, including CI/CD, observability, and basic production ownership.
- Practical AI-native workflow using coding, research, and debugging assistants without compromising correctness.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Preferred: production experience with Go; infrastructure as code using Terraform, Terragrunt, or Helm; blockchain RPC integrations or blockchain client nodes; Web3 infrastructure such as validators, indexing, or node orchestration; self-service products, internal tooling, deployment automation, planning practices, customer or sales collaboration, and usage-based or B2B SaaS products.
