Responsibilities
- Design technical solutions for large-scale map scenes, tight frame budgets, and constrained mobile and automotive hardware.
- Contribute across the rendering stack, from mobile SDK APIs to graphics pipelines and shader-level work.
- Develop and maintain rendering engines and mobile SDK functionality for phones and automotive customers.
- Take ownership of an engineering area and lead changes within the team.
- Build iteratively using agile methods and use AI extensively in day-to-day engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of equivalent experience in at least one modern programming language.
- Strong proficiency in C++, C#, Kotlin, or Swift, with productivity in at least one of these languages.
- Comfort contributing to the mobile SDK layer.
- Professional software engineering experience across coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Strong Android and/or iOS engineering experience, or experience in computer graphics, rendering engines, or visualization.
- Comfort communicating in written and spoken English.
- Preferred experience includes Unity, Vulkan, OpenGL, shader authoring, graphics pipeline optimization, Kotlin, Swift, automotive software, and large geospatial or other large-scale datasets.
